This Pickering family originally lived in Weaverham parish, Cheshire, England from the 1600's to 1700's. The main locations in the parishes were Gorstage or Gorstich and Cuddington in Weaverham parish. One son probably lived in Over. Another son lived in Runcorn, Halton, and then Aston by Sutton, Cheshire. Other places mentioned were Crowton, Whitegate, and Nantwich.
